So far this week has been pretty productive! My boyfriend and I have been having mini adventures and exploring the unknown. We've stopped at some really cool thrift shops, just browsing really. My boyfriend has accumulated a lot of old gaming consoles. He has some interesting ideas he wants to do with them. As for me I found myself another ouija board, I have 2 of the same boards now. They're the glow-in-the-dark ones from Parker Brothers. I found this one for a steal of... drum roll please... 25 cents! I'm very pleased! Been thinking a lot lately of what I
want to go back to school for or just random classes I'd be interested
in taking. What I have come up with is a huge mish mosh of things. To
name a few.. some sort of fashion design trade or clothing constructing
class, dancing preferably classical ballet, bone articulation classes,
art classes, anatomy courses, I was also thinking about getting back
into cosmetology but I'm more drawn to fashion than beauty.
Jess (my boyfriend) and I joined a local co-op near where we live and we
had our first pick up yesterday. We are thrilled to be apart of it. Met
some very friendly people and got some really delicious locally grown,
fresh, organic fruits and veggies. Here's a couple photos!
From left to right... kale, rosemary, mint, ezmerelda..
..radishes, baby romaine, garlic scapes, peas..
..zucchini, strawberries, locally made garlic vinegar..
..spinach and spring onions
We made a salad yesterday with the ezmerelda and garlic scapes - very tastey!
Here's the recipe if you're interested:
- Ezmerelda
- Spring onion
- Garlic scapes
- Tomato
- Avocado
- Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- Apple cider vinegar w. The Mother
Crazy delicious combination... a new favorite!
I have been experimenting a lot with hair chemically. Not so much mine because I am content with it's health but I picked up a pack of blonde hair extensions from Sallys Beauty Supply. They were a little too yellow for my taste so I toned them down with purple shampoo and started lathering them with pastel colored dyes. I made some pink ones for my sister and for me I made a very subtle lilac color. I really want to make a minty seafoam pair and some ice blue ones!
My camera is out of battery so I'll post of some of the pieces in another post. I'm gonna go stud some jeans and catch up on Vampire Diaries. Happy June!
